FAQ
Questions, answered.
Direct answers to what people usually ask before deciding to work with us.
It depends on scope. An SEO audit is about 10 days. A full visual identity is typically 4 to 6 weeks. Website design projects run 3 to 5 weeks from kick-off. Packaging depends heavily on structural complexity but averages 4 weeks. We give you a specific timeline in the project proposal before anything starts.
We do, selectively. After a completed project, some clients move into a monthly retainer for ongoing creative direction, asset production, or campaign support. We take on a limited number of retainer clients to keep the quality where it needs to be.
Every package includes defined revision rounds. If the work goes in a direction that genuinely does not serve you, we have a process for resetting that does not cost you more. What we do not do is pretend disagreement does not exist and keep going.
Yes. We are based in Petaluma, CA but work with clients nationally. About 70% of our clients are outside Northern California. All collaboration happens over video, shared documents, and design tools. Location has not been a problem once.
You can buy individual services. Use our custom package builder to configure exactly what you need, or contact us directly to discuss a scope that fits your situation.
A completed project brief (we send you a template), any existing brand assets, and examples of work you admire. We do not need everything at once. The kick-off call usually clarifies what else we need.
Yes. Every deliverable is sent digitally via email, shared Figma files, or Google Drive. We do not ship physical goods. Nothing leaves our studio as a printed item unless specifically and separately agreed.
Sometimes, with the Rush Delivery add-on. If we have capacity and the project scope is defined clearly enough to move at that speed, we can compress timelines significantly. Contact us first to check availability before adding this to your order.
Depends on the project. Identity work comes with AI, PDF, SVG, PNG, and EPS files. Digital product work comes as Figma files with a component library. Web design as production-ready Figma. Packaging as press-ready PDFs with source files. Everything is labelled and organised so it is actually usable.
